EO2HEAVEN was presented in the seminar ‘Harnessing cooperation between South Africa and the European Commission to advance the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS)’ at the South African – EU Summit

In anticipation of the GEO Ministerial Summit to be held in Beijing in November 2010, the Seminar reviewed the collaboration between South Africa and the European Commission towards the development of GEOSS. The main objective was to identify new opportunities for South African - EU partnerships to support the further development of GEOSS. The Seminar highlighted collaboration in multilateral frameworks as a strategic dimension of the South Africa - EU S&T partnership.
