EO2HEAVEN (Earth Observation and Environmental Modelling for the Mitigation of Health Risks) is a research project co-funded by the European Commission as part of the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) Environmental theme. It started on 1st February 2010. EO2HEAVEN contributes to a better understanding of the complex relationships between environmental changes and their impact on human health.

EO2HEAVEN organised its Final Event!

Learn how EO2HEAVEN tackled the challenges of building the bridges between the health, environmental and IT domains by making use of OGC standards to link health and environmental data for both decision makers and scientists.

Experience the EO2HEAVEN work for three demanding case studies in the areas of Air Quality (in Saxony and Durban) and Water-Borne Diseases (Cholera in Uganda) with presentations and demonstrations by the experts.

EO2HEAVEN Conference Day took place on 14 May 2013 in Leuven (Belgium) at the facilities of the Faculty Club, in parallel to AGILE 2013 Workshops and preceding the 16th AGILE Conference on Geographic Information Science.
